Job summary

The Criminal Division is seeking an experienced IT leader to serve as Chief Information Officer (Director, Information Technology Management). This on-site role reports to the Executive Officer and will oversee enterprise-wide IT operations through managers across cybersecurity, development, litigation support, and records management.

You will guide modernization, coordinate governance, and drive strategic IT initiatives to support a dispersed workforce.

Qualifications

• Qualifications include: one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 level or equivalent.
• Evidence of directing enterprise-scale IT programs and modernization decisions at a strategic level.
• Experience leading cybersecurity, development, or infrastructure initiatives.

Job description

The Criminal Division is seeking an experienced IT leader to serve as the Chief Information Officer (Director, Information Technology Management). This position reports directly to the Executive Officer and will lead and supervise all enterprise-wide IT operations for the Division through managers over critical portfolios such as cybersecurity, development, litigation support, and records management. To qualify for the GS-15 level, applicants must have one year of specialized experience at, or equivalent to, the GS-14 grade level. Examples of specialized experience include: directing enterprise-scale IT programs involving the planning, development, integration, and modernization of major systems or services across a dispersed workforce; leading enterprise architecture, systems engineering or development, cybersecurity, or infrastructure at a strategic level; managing major IT acquisitions such as negotiating complex technical requirements and ensuring performance and deliverables; and driving policy, governance, and modernization decisions that shape organizational-wide technology outcomes.
