OculusIT seeks an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead technology strategy, digital transformation, IT operations, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems in higher education.

The CIO will partner with senior leadership to strengthen student and customer experiences, drive analytics, and manage budgets, vendors, and teams. The role demands strategic vision and collaborative leadership across departments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive technology experience with 7+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-wide digital transformation.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, data, and IT governance.
• Higher education / EdTech experience is highly preferred.

• Develop and execute the organization's overall IT and digital transformation strategy.
• Lead IT operations, infrastructure, cloud, enterprise applications, and modernization.

• Manage IT budgets, technology investments, vendors, and strategic partnerships.

• Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to align technology with organizational goals.
• Identify emerging technologies and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and user experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's preferred.
