Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in human resources, public or business administration.
• At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in HR management or policy development.
• English required; French desirable.

Responsibilities

• Directs the HR Policies Division work programme and allocates resources.
• Develops studies on HR policy areas to inform system-wide HR standards.
• Manages mobility, hardship schemes, entitlements for field and duty locations.
• Formulates policy recommendations and advises the Commission and General Assembly.
• Monitors implementation of UN common system policies across organizations.
• Oversees job evaluation standards and related training support.
