Job summary

The University of Chicago seeks a CEO for the Chicago Quantum Exchange to design and execute a growth strategy, coordinate a network of academic, industry, and nonprofit partners, and lead strategic initiatives including the Bloch Quantum EDA Tech Hub.

Reporting to the CQE Faculty Director, the CEO will manage a team of professionals, secure funding, and advance CQE’s mission across the Midwest and beyond, fostering a data-driven, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• College or university degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Experience in a higher education setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designs and manages CQE’s growth strategy and mission.
• Builds partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develops revenue-generating programming and partnerships.
• Guides research collaborations and education offerings.
• Leads a diversified team and manages the center budget.
