Spirit of America in Arlington, VA seeks a Chief Growth Officer to lead fundraising, marketing and communications under one executive. Based in our Arlington office, the CGO will drive a bold visibility strategy and grow philanthropic support, aligning program priorities with growth objectives.

This role leads Development, Marketing, and Communications, manages budgets and CRM data, and partners with the founder and CEO to translate mission into measurable revenue and impact.

Qualificações

• At least ten (10) years of substantial private-sector experience, including senior leadership in growth, marketing, revenue, or business development at a scaling organization.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Demonstrated record of creating significant, sustained revenue growth with ability to explain starting point, results, strategies, and personal contribution.
• Creative, entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of original approaches that produced outsized results.
• Meaningful nonprofit leadership experience or fundraising involvement.
• Experience integrating marketing with fundraising or sales to translate brand awareness into revenue.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement a cohesive growth strategy to expand public awareness and philanthropic support, with clear milestones and investment priorities.
• Lead integrated fundraising across major gifts, foundations, corporate philanthropy, and grassroots giving.
• Oversee brand positioning, digital marketing, content, media, events, and donor communications.
• Build and lead a coordinated Development, Marketing, and Communications team with clear responsibilities and shared goals.
• Establish processes connecting marketing with donor development and strengthen CRM usage and reporting.
