Job summary

Virginia Transformer Corporation seeks a Senior Vice President of Supply Chain to lead enterprise-wide strategy, transformation, and execution of sourcing, procurement, planning, logistics, and supplier management. Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, materials, operations, or related leadership experience with significant executive responsibility.
• Experience leading enterprise or multi-site supply chain organizations in complex manufacturing environments.
• Strong background in heavy manufacturing, power systems, electrical equipment, or engineered-to-order manufacturing preferred.
• Proven track record managing diverse supplier networks and high-value strategic agreements.
• Experience leading supply chain transformation, systems modernization, and data-driven performance improvement at scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise supply chain strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Establish governance, organization structure, and performance cadence across multiple facilities.
• Lead global sourcing for critical materials and manage capacity planning for high-mix, low-volume production.
• Serve as executive escalation point for supplier, material, capacity, and logistics constraints.
• Drive S&OP, planning, inventory optimization, and working capital management.
• Oversee inbound/outbound logistics and network optimization; ensure OTIF improvements.
