Job summary

CarParts.com is seeking a Vice President of Sourcing to lead global sourcing strategy and vendor network from our Long Beach, CA headquarters. This role is full-time, in-office only, reporting to the COO with board-level visibility.

You will restructure vendor terms, drive working capital improvements, and build sourcing capabilities across geographies while ensuring compliance with U.S. safety standards. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in sourcing, procurement, or global supply chain.
• Experience operating at a senior/executive level with P&L-adjacent accountability.
• Direct, hands-on experience negotiating and restructuring vendor payment terms or driving working-capital improvement at scale.
• Experience managing vendor-managed inventory, consignment, or fully-funded partner relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own the transformation of our collision business to a negative cash conversion cycle, targeting a 3-turn business.
• Consolidate and modernize Taiwan-origin sourcing, build capabilities in new geographies.
• Partner with Accounting, Tax, Legal, Finance, and HR on cross-functional initiatives while personally driving vendor negotiations and cost-gap analysis.
• Design the sourcing organization, build Taiwan and U.S. teams, and establish a two-hub operating model.
