Job summary

Sutter West Bay Medical Group seeks a Chief of General Obstetrics & Gynecology to lead specialty-level execution across San Francisco and Marin County, advancing clinical excellence, access, and service-line performance. The role partners with administrative leadership to ensure standards, local execution, and physician accountability.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology required.
• Active OB/GYN practice experience with credibility among peers.
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience and 3 years in leadership roles.
• Experience with physician recruitment, onboarding, and team development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead General OB/GYN aligned with Women’s Service Line strategy and local site needs.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, templates, capacity, productivity, and workflow improvements.
• Develop initiatives to improve patient access, provider engagement, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure appropriate physician and care team staffing to meet demand; participate in onsite rounds.
• Advance evidence-based practices, patient safety, and quality improvement.
