Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Director of Foundation Administration to lead the Arts and Sciences Foundation’s operations, budgets, HR coordination, and executive support. This role reports to the AVC/ED and serves on the foundation's leadership team.

Ideal candidates will have senior-level operations experience, strong ethics, and a track record of building autonomous, collaborative teams while guiding strategic initiatives across the foundation and university.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of fundraising operations and advancement services.
• Experience with finance, human resources, talent management, technology infrastructure and facilities.
• Proven leadership and management track record.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as chief of staff and lead administrative officer for the Arts and Sciences Foundation.
• Oversee business and budget operations, HR coordination, and planning.
• Coordinate board and executive engagement and support, and strategic project management.
• Manage talent, fiscal management including budget, procurement, asset management, and facilities.
• Lead Foundation IT support and strategy implementation; supervise direct reports.
