Qualifications

• Must meet the eligibility requirements for Chief Instructor under FAR 141.35 as applicable.
• Significant flight instruction experience within a Part 141 flight training environment.
• Proven ability to evaluate instructors and students and maintain high training standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all flight training activities, ensuring high instruction standards, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate flight instructors, including proficiency checks per FARs.
• Conduct stage checks, final tests, and certify training records and graduation documents.
• Monitor student progression, identify training gaps, and coordinate with instructors for support.
• Oversee coordination of students, instructors, aircraft, and resources for efficient training operations.
• Maintain compliance with FAA and Part 141 requirements and regulatory standards.
• Keep knowledge current on regulatory developments and implement updates.
