The City of Baltimore, Department of General Services, seeks a Chief Fleet Officer - Operations Manager II to provide executive leadership for city fleets, overseeing over 5,600 vehicles and ~$75M budget. Lead safety, sustainability, and performance, with a focus on modernization and data-driven decisions across eight facilities.

Responsibilities include directing three Deputy Chiefs, managing contracts, and advancing zero-emission initiatives while ensuring service delivery to 29 city agencies.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree with ten years of progressively increasing responsibilities, including four years of supervisory experience.
• Eight or more years of senior management experience in fleet management or equivalent large-scale operations, including oversight of multiple assets.
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets, contracts, and large technical workforces.
• Licenses: valid Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver’s license or equivalent; eligibility for Baltimore City driver’s permit.
