Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island, Inc. (FSRI) seeks an experienced VP of Finance to lead finance and accounting operations. You will play a key role on the executive team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, controls, and strategic alignment with FSRI's mission.

The ideal candidate has nonprofit accounting expertise, strong leadership, and a hands-on, collaborative style. MBA or CPA is preferred, and flexibility for travel to community sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations including reporting, GL, billing, A/P, A/R, and payroll.
• Develop and improve financial processes and infrastructure to support operations.
• Provide timely, accurate financial information to executive leadership and stakeholders.
