Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) seeks an experienced VP of Finance to manage finance and accounting operations and to contribute as a senior leader on the executive team. The role emphasizes nonprofit accounting, financial reporting, and process improvement while partnering across departments.

The position requires a strong background in nonprofit principles, ethical leadership, and the ability to mentor staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles, reporting, and compliance.
• Strong financial leadership with hands-on, get-the-job-done approach.
• Experience leading finance teams and communicating with non-financial staff.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations including payroll, A/P, A/R.
• Ensure timely financial reporting and maintenance of the general ledger.
• Develop and improve financial processes and supporting infrastructure.
• Serve as a key member of the executive team with collaborative leadership.
