Job summary

Liles Search Group LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for a nonprofit to oversee all financial operations and drive strategic initiatives aligned with stakeholders and employees.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership and decision-making skills, 10+ years in business finance, and the ability to partner with the CEO and Board to shape corporate culture and long-term planning. In-office Mon-Thu, 8:30–4:30, with occasional evenings and board events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• MBA preferred but not required.
• 10+ years' experience in business related field.
• Strong leadership, decision making and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• The CFO will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audits, investments, compliance, risk management, cash flow, and organizational planning. As a key thought partner to the CEO and Board of Directors.
• Take lead across all aspects of the company by reviewing how departments work together
• Make key decisions that will affect the company's direction
• Build a positive and productive culture in the workplace
• In office Monday - Thursday, 8:30-4:30 with occasional evenings; Quarterly Board Meeting, in town weekend events (about 10 per year).

Compensation:$120k, plus full benefits (medical + dental + vision paid in full)

The ideal candidate will manage the overall operations of the company as well as develop and implement strategies that meet the needs of the customers, the stakeholders, and the employees. They will be responsible for making key decisions and executing the culture of the company.
