We seek talented individuals to join our Chief Financial Officer in Training program, working directly with an assigned CFO mentor. This opportunity immerses you in behavioral healthcare finance, offering hands-on experience and operational insights within our facilities.

Your primary training will be at Tower Behavioral Health System in Reading, PA, located on an 83-acre campus with a state-of-the-art 144-bed inpatient facility and outpatient services. Tower Behavioral Health specializes in care for adolescents (14-17) and adults (18+) with mental health and co-occurring addiction issues.

Throughout the program, you will gain exposure to financial management, strategic planning, and operational decision-making. The program lasts 6 to 18 months, depending on the individual. Relocation Requirement: Candidates must be open to relocation for training and eventual placement as a CFO. Acadia offers relocation assistance to successful candidates.

Responsibilities of the CFO in Training:

• Monitor and control accounts receivables.
• Oversee Business Office functions to meet cash collection goals and accurately report net revenue.
• Improve hospital profitability by monitoring costs related to patient volume and staffing.
• Develop and enforce policies within accounting principles and corporate guidelines to ensure cash flow, reduce operating costs, and increase revenues.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and analyses.
• Provide reconciliations, account analyses, and support for departments like Reimbursement, Tax, and Auditors.
• Collaborate with management and department heads on annual budgeting, reviewing financial results, and identifying future needs and trends.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s preferred.
• Healthcare setting experience is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare finance and accounting, including AP/AR, payroll, and general accounting.
