The CFO will lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, partnering with ownership and operations to build discipline and scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for a multi-unit operation.

• Establish reporting, accountability, and financial controls across the organization.
• Partner with Operations and Culinary leadership to improve labor and food costs and profitability.
• Coordinate with bookkeeper and outside accounting and tax professionals for accurate reporting and compliance.
• Oversee cash flow management, financial planning, and performance metrics.
• Evaluate capital expenditures and growth opportunities.
• Help build the infrastructure and processes to support growth.
• Serve as a trusted financial and strategic partner to ownership and executive leadership.

Salary: $120,000–$150,000

A growing multi-unit restaurant group is seeking an entrepreneurial, hands-on Chief Financial Officer to join its leadership team in a newly created position. This is an exciting opportunity for a financially astute leader who enjoys digging into the details, identifying opportunities, and building the systems and processes that help a business operate more efficiently.

The organization is entering an important period of growth and operational rebuilding. We are looking for someone who can bring structure, accountability, and financial discipline while partnering closely with ownership and the operational team to create a stronger foundation for the future.

What You’ll Do

• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for a multi-unit restaurant operation.
• Analyze costs, profitability, and operating performance to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and financial results.
• Develop and implement financial and operational systems, processes, and procedures.
• Establish stronger reporting, accountability, and financial controls across the organization.
• Partner with Operations and Culinary leadership to improve labor costs, food costs, purchasing, and overall restaurant-level profitability.
• Coordinate with the bookkeeper and outside accounting and tax professionals to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Oversee cash flow management, financial planning, and the development of meaningful business performance metrics.
• Evaluate capital expenditures, operational investments, and opportunities for continued growth.
• Help build the infrastructure and processes needed to support a growing restaurant group.
• Serve as a trusted financial and strategic partner to ownership and executive leadership.

• Demonstrated experience building or rebuilding financial and operational systems, processes, and procedures.
• A hands-on, analytical approach with the ability to identify problems and develop practical solutions.
• Strong understanding of restaurant-level economics, including labor, food costs, prime cost, and profitability.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
