The client is seeking an experienced, strategic, and collaborative financial leader to serve as its next chief financial officer (cfo). the cfo will provide enterprise-wide financial leadership and act as a key strategic partner to the president, board of trustees, and senior leadership team, reporting to the executive director and president. the role is expected to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights that support informed strategic decisions and strengthen fiscal stewardship.

the cfo will serve as the financial leader across multiple interconnected organizations under The client umbrella, balancing distinct organizational needs, governance structures, and strategic priorities. responsibilities include building trust with multiple boards, committees, and leadership teams while ensuring transparency, alignment, and sound financial management. the cfo is also expected to navigate differing stakeholder expectations, foster collaboration among board members and institutional partners, and serve as a trusted advisor who balances diplomacy with accountability.
