RubinBrown Executive Recruiting is seeking an interim CFO for a mission-driven nonprofit in St. Louis, MO. The role partners with the CEO to provide strategic direction and day-to-day financial oversight.

Candidates should hold a degree in accounting/finance, 10+ years in finance leadership, CPA preferred, and nonprofit/NFP experience mandatory. Hybrid work and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance leadership roles.
• CPA and public accounting experience is a plus; nonprofit/NFP experience is mandatory.
• Degree in accounting/finance or similar field; masters/CPA preferred but not mandatory.

A very mission-driven organization, in St. Louis, is searching for an interim CFO to join their executive team and help lead their accounting/finance processes. They plan for this professional to come on board, complement their leadership team and provide them with the strategic direction, and daily oversight, that they need. This is a very unique opportunity that will allow the right professional to make an immediate impact on a wonderful organization!!

For this opportunity, candidates will need to be degreed in accounting/finance, have 10+ years of progressive experience to accounting/finance leadership roles, a CPA and public accounting experience is a plus, experience in the non-profit/NFP industry is mandatory. Candidates need to be pro-active, approachable and a positive leader.

You Will Be Engaged In:

• Member of the leadership team and involved in driving key decision making
• Partner with CEO
• Provide solid executive analysis
• Responsible for all accounting/finance processes
• Month/year-end
• Lead the annual budget processes
• Negotiate business contracts and insurance plans/coverage
• Supervision of staff

You Offer:

• Experience as a CFO/VP of Finance
