Description du poste

Collision Partners is building a differentiated collision-repair platform around a simple idea: local excellence can scale while preserving repair quality, safety, culture, and customer trust. Our mission is to deliver the industry’s safest, highest-quality repairs by following OEM procedures without compromise. We will be the industry’s most desired employer and the most trusted collision-repair partner to customers, OEMs, and dealerships.

We are an acquisition-led, rapidly scaling business backed by long-term institutional and entrepreneurial capital. As the platform adds locations, acquisitions, and organizational complexity, Finance is becoming an enterprise-critical operating system for the company.

The Opportunity

Collision Partners is seeking its first Chief Financial Officer to build the financial operating system for the next stage of growth. The CFO will serve as the CEO’s principal financial thought partner and a core member of the executive leadership team, with significant influence over capital allocation, acquisition integration, operating accountability, systems, talent, and the company’s path to materially greater scale.

The mandate requires a leader who has lived through rapid acquisition-led scaling, personally built Finance infrastructure, and remains willing to work hands-on while developing the team, systems, and processes the business will need going forward.

What We Are Hiring For
  • Lived the scaling movie. Experience as a senior Finance leader inside a rapidly scaling, acquisition-led, decentralized, or multi-site business, including repeated acquisitions, post-close integration, changing systems, evolving controls, and increasing organizational complexity.
  • Built the Finance machine firsthand. A record of personally building or materially upgrading accounting, FP&A, reporting, controls, treasury, acquisition onboarding, systems, data, and Finance-team infrastructure as complexity increased.
  • Financial and analytical horsepower. Strong personal capability across integrated modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, unit economics, accounting judgment, liquidity, leverage, working capital, covenants, and capital allocation. The CFO should move fluently between the consolidated enterprise, an acquisition model, a center-level P&L, and the underlying operating drivers.
  • Operating Finance and accountability. A track record of turning leading indicators into visibility, cadence, accountability, action, and financial results. Finance should help operators identify issues early, understand drivers, and make better decisions.
  • Executive leadership and CEO partnership. High judgment, curiosity, intellectual honesty, low ego, ownership, and communication. The CFO should challenge assumptions with evidence, anticipate what could break as complexity increases, build exceptional teams, and earn credibility with operators, the Board, lenders, and investors.
Responsibilities
  • Strategy & decision support: Translate strategy into capital, liquidity, investment, return, and operating requirements. Frame tradeoffs, quantify risk and opportunity cost, and deliver analysis early enough to shape decisions.
  • FP&A & operating insight: Own annual planning, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, management reporting, center benchmarking, variance analysis, and KPI architecture. Build an integrated model linking center-level drivers, same-store performance, acquisition cadence, overhead, working capital, debt, covenants, and liquidity, and use it to identify issues early enough for operators to act.
  • Accounting & controls: Build a reliable close and reporting cadence and own financial-statement integrity, accounting policy, audit, tax, multi-entity consolidation, purchase accounting, and internal controls. Develop a team that executes the mechanics accurately and allows the CFO to operate at review and judgment altitude.
  • Treasury & capital structure: Own cash forecasting, working capital, debt capacity, covenant compliance, banking, treasury, and lender relationships. Maintain sufficient liquidity and covenant headroom to support the acquisition plan and give the CEO and Board clear capital-allocation choices.
  • M&A Finance & integration: Partner with M&A on transaction finance and own the post-close financial handoff through a repeatable Day 1 / 30 / 60 / 90 playbook covering opening balance sheets, purchase accounting, banking, chart-of-accounts mapping, systems, close integration, and controls. Track actual performance against acquisition underwriting.
  • Board, lender & investor credibility: Own the quality of the numbers, forecasts, and analysis behind external stakeholder relationships. Surface issues early, explain uncertainty clearly, and defend conclusions with command of the underlying economics.
  • Finance team, systems & data: Design the Finance organization, recruit and develop leaders, and establish clear ownership across accounting, FP&A, treasury, acquisition accounting, and systems. Lead the transition from current financial systems to a scalable ERP and reporting architecture, with strong data integrity, automation, and controls. Oversee the company’s managed service provider and key technology vendors, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, data protection, and business continuity, until dedicated internal technology leadership is established.
  • Risk & stewardship: Own the financial dimensions of enterprise risk, including tax, insurance and risk financing, fraud and disbursement controls, financial compliance, and concentration and covenant risk. Use specialized outside advisors where appropriate while retaining accountability.
Ideal Background
  • CFO, divisional CFO, or senior Finance leadership experience in a rapidly scaling multi-site operating company, preferably in a private-equity-backed, founder-led, or similarly high-growth environment.
  • Meaningful acquisition-led growth experience with repeated post-close integration across multiple entities, locations, and systems.
  • Firsthand experience building or materially upgrading both accounting and FP&A organizations as complexity increased.
  • Strong personal capability in integrated financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, unit economics, working capital, debt and covenant analysis, and capital allocation.
  • Demonstrated command of GAAP, close, multi-entity consolidation, audit, purchase accounting, and financial controls, paired with sound judgment on the use of specialist expertise.
  • Direct experience with liquidity planning, debt facilities, lender relationships, and financing execution.
  • Experience preparing and defending Board-level forecasts, operating analysis, and capital-allocation recommendations.
  • Experience leading an ERP or meaningful Finance-systems implementation and designing scalable data and reporting architecture.
  • A record of translating financial insight into operating action and measurable improvement, with direct engagement at the facility or business-unit level.
  • Evidence of recruiting, teaching, and developing high-performing Finance talent, along with the intellectual curiosity to keep learning the business as it scales.
Role Structure, Location & Compensation

The CFO will report to the CEO & Co-Founder and work closely with the COO, VP of M&A, operating leadership, and the Board. The existing Finance organization is lean, creating an immediate opportunity to shape the function, build the team, and establish the processes and systems required for the next stage.

Collision Partners operates a distributed multi-state platform. Willingness to travel to operating locations, lenders, Board meetings, and integration projects on an as-needed basis is expected, particularly during periods of active integration.

Collision Partners expects to offer a highly competitive executive compensation package consisting of $300,000.00-$400,00.00 base salary, performance-based cash incentive, and meaningful long-term equity participation. The structure is designed to align the CFO directly with long-term enterprise value creation. Additional co-investment opportunity may be available.

Benefits include 401(k) with matching, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, and paid holidays.

Why Collision Partners

The CFO will have unusual influence over how Collision Partners allocates capital, integrates acquisitions, creates operating accountability, builds systems and talent, and scales the platform over the next several years. The role offers the opportunity to design the Finance function at a formative stage and build the institutional capability required for materially greater scale.
