Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, operations, and long-term planning for a PE-backed consumer manufacturing organization in Suffolk County, Long Island, NY. The role requires manufacturing/ FMCG experience and PE exposure.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, system implementations, risk management, and strategic investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred; CPA or CFA certifications advantageous.
• 15+ years in finance, with 5+ years in senior executive leadership roles; manufacturing or FMCG experience preferred.
• Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and strategic investments.
• Experience with private equity owned companies.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor teams.
• Experience with financial management software and ERP systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making.

About the role

The CFO oversees the organization's financial strategy, operations, and long-term planning to ensure financial health and profitability. This role is crucial for driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting growth objectives.

Must have manufacturing experience - preferably food & beverage or consumer products with multi-entity being strongly preferred.

Must have Private Equity-backed company experience.
