This role focuses on capital strategy, diligence, integration, and value creation, with hands-on leadership to professionalize finance, accounting, FP&A, and operational finance as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Must-have: Direct M&A experience including buy-side/sell-side diligence, integration, or leadership
• Strongly preferred: Manufacturing, fabrication, industrial, construction services, or related experience
• Must-have: Prior CFO/VP Finance or senior finance leadership in a middle-market business
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
• Experience in founder-led or owner-operated environments
• Strong grasp of job-cost accounting, WIP reporting, project-based margin analysis, and operational finance
• Ability to build and scale the finance function, not just maintain it
• CPA, MBA, or equivalent credentials are a plus, but transaction experience matters most

The Opportunity:

Confidential CFO search for a South Florida-based manufacturing company that has quietly become one of the most respected names in the region's construction supply chain.

The company is at a major growth inflection point, with multiple operating facilities, a strong backlog, and work tied to some of South Florida's most recognizable luxury residential, hospitality, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

This is not a maintenance CFO role. Ownership is looking for a strategic financial leader who can help professionalize the finance function, bring structure to a growing multi-facility operation, and play a key role in the company's next chapter.

M&A experience is critical. The ideal candidate has been directly involved in transactions, understands diligence, deal readiness, financial storytelling, integration, and value creation, and can operate as a true partner to ownership through complex strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Own

• Lead financial strategy, planning, reporting, and analysis across a multi-facility manufacturing operation
• Partner directly with ownership and the executive team on capital strategy, growth planning, and long-term value creation
• Drive M&A-related initiatives, including diligence preparation, transaction support, financial modeling, integration planning, and post-close execution
• Build, lead, and professionalize the finance, accounting, and FP&A functions as the company scales
• Improve job costing, margin analysis, WIP reporting, and project-level profitability across fabrication and installation work
• Oversee treasury, banking relationships, risk, insurance, audit, tax, bonding, and surety relationships
• Create the financial systems, processes, reporting cadence, and infrastructure needed to support continued growth
• Serve as a hands-on executive who can operate strategically while still being close enough to the details to drive execution

What You Bring
