Position Title

Chief Financial Officer (Full Time – Exempt)

ROLE

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Citizens Federal Savings Bank serves as a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for the bank’s overall financial management, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance programs. This position directly reports to the CEO and works collaboratively with the Board of Directors to ensure the bank's financial stability, growth, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·Direct all financial activities including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, treasury, and tax functions

·Lead the development of short and long-term financial plans and forecasts

·Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board based on financial analysis

·Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements

·Oversee capital planning and management of the bank's investment portfolio

·Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform financial strategy

·Develop and implement financial controls and risk management procedures

·Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including regulators, auditors, and financial partners

·Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

·Performs other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

·Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; MBA or master’s degree preferred

·CPA and/or CFA certification preferred

·Minimum 10 years of progressive financial management experience within the banking industry

·At least 5 years of executive-level experience in a financial institution

Required Knowledge

In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, particularly those related to financial management, strong understanding of risk management principles and their application in banking, expert knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies, comprehensive understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements, deep knowledge of capital planning and asset liability management, thorough understanding of tax implications for financial institutions, knowledge of investment strategies and portfolio management, familiarity with current banking technology and financial systems

Experience Required

10 + years of progressive financial management experience within the banking industry

5+ years of executive-level experience in a financial institution

Ability to hear average conversations at a standard level in an office environment around other customers and bank personnel.

Physical Strength:

The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty pounds (unassisted). May sit as well as stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for extended periods of time for long periods of time.

WORKING CONDITIONS

General professional office environment with climate control. Adequate lighting. Occasional travel to other bank branches. Occasional meetings with clients or bank personnel outside of normal business hours. Occasional additional hours outside of regular bank service hours may be required.
