Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the executive leadership team. This role oversees financial operations and strategy for a 489-bed acute care hospital, reporting directly to the CEO.

The CFO will provide executive leadership across planning, budgeting, revenue cycle, cash management, capital finance, and financial reporting while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• 5–7+ years of hospital accounting/finance experience.
• Progressive leadership experience within healthcare finance.
• Knowledge of hospital budgeting, cash management, capital finance, reimbursement, and financial performance.
• ACHE or other relevant professional organization participation preferred.

What we’re looking for:
