Job summary

Unity Search partnered with a specialty healthcare client to identify a Chief Financial Officer for a national infusion therapy platform backed by private equity. The role reports to the CEO with significant exposure to the Board and PE sponsor, guiding finance strategy across multiple sites.

The CFO will build institutional-grade finance infrastructure while staying close to daily operations, oversee accounting, FP&A, and cash management, and lead M&A diligence and integrations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in accounting, corporate finance, or transaction advisory.
• CFO experience or scaling a finance function in a PE-backed growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Own core financial functions - accounting, FP&A, cash management, monthly close, GAAP reporting.
• Lead financial diligence, deal structuring, and integration for add-on acquisitions.
• Manage debt/equity financing relationships, covenant compliance, and investor communications.
• Build and scale a high-performing finance organization, systems, and controls.
• Serve as a key liaison to the Board of Directors and Investment group.

This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the CEO, with significant exposure to the Board and PE sponsor.

The Opportunity

Our client is a fast-growing, multi-site healthcare services platform delivering home infusion and ambulatory infusion center services across the South and West Coast. As the organization scales through organic growth and acquisitions, they're seeking a CFO who can build institutional-grade finance infrastructure while remaining close to daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own core financial functions - accounting, FP&A, cash management, monthly close, GAAP reporting
• Lead financial diligence, deal structuring, and integration for add-on acquisitions
• Manage debt/equity financing relationships, covenant compliance, and investor communications
• Build and scale a high-performing finance organization, systems, and controls
• Serve as a key liaison to the Board of Directors and Investment group

What Our Client Is Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, corporate finance, or transaction advisory
• CFO or experience scaling a finance function in a high-growth, PE-backed environment
• multi-site healthcare services experience required - pharmacy/infusion background strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of managed care, payer contracting, and reimbursement dynamics
• CPA/MBA preferred; demonstrated M&A leadership essential
