Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Chief Financial Officer in Broussard, LA to lead accounting, financial reporting, and strategic planning for a multi-entity organization. The role requires partnering with ownership, managing cash flow, and overseeing intercompany transactions across business units.

The CFO will drive budgeting, long-term financial planning, and capital strategy while coordinating with auditors and external partners, with frequent travel to support multiple operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a CFO or Controller in a multi-entity or complex organization
• Proven experience partnering with executive leadership and ownership teams
• Experience with financial reporting, cash flow management, and multi-entity accounting
• Background in manufacturing, industrial, energy, or related industries preferred
• Experience managing banking relationships, financing, and capital strategy

Responsibilities

• Partner with ownership to evaluate business performance and financial strategy
• Lead accounting operations, monthly close processes, and financial reporting
• Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and financial systems for decision-making
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and capital allocation strategies
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Oversee multi-entity accounting structures and intercompany transactions
• Review contracts, MSAs, and financial risk exposure
• Manage accounting and administrative teams across business units
• Coordinate with auditors, lenders, CPAs, and external partners
• Support operational growth through financial analysis and strategic recommendations
• Travel to support multiple business units and work across office and operations environments

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
