Earth Force seeks a Chief Executive, External Affairs to co-lead a national nonprofit advancing Environmental Applied Civics. This full-time, exempt role reports to the Board and shares executive leadership with the Chief Executive, Programs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in nonprofit fundraising.
• Genuine belief in civic skills and youth voice to shape environmental decision‑making.
• Clear and persuasive writing and presentation skills with external audiences.
• Ability to read and develop budgets, manage cash flow, and discuss financials with funders.
• Led or owned a major function or program with accountable results.
• Supervised staff with responsibility for performance and development.

Responsabilités

• Lead multiyear fundraising strategy including donor pipeline, CRM, cultivation, stewardship, forecasting and reporting.
• Cultivate grants, major gifts, and other revenue sources; diversify funding beyond current base.
• Build and maintain relationships with funders, board members, partners, and district leaders.
• Translate program impact into a compelling case for support and ensure clear organizational messaging.
• Serve as primary spokesperson and coordinate public relations and marketing with the Communications Lead.
• Supervise the Operations Director and ensure HR, benefits, and registrations meet needs.
• Oversee grant budgets, financial reporting timelines, and overall financial health with leadership.
