Job summary

The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc. seeks a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to guide LASPBC’s mission of fair access to civil justice.

The CEO serves as chief strategic officer, ambassador, fundraiser, and relationship builder, working with the Board to sustain operations and expand impact for underserved communities. You will lead strategic planning, organizational culture, and collaborations with funders and partners, ensuring financial health, ethical practice, and equity-driven

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Florida Bar license in good standing (or eligibility).
• 15 years of legal advocacy experience, with at least five years in poverty/civil legal services and substantial litigation experience.
• Five years of progressively responsible leadership experience, ideally within non-profit, legal services, or public interest sectors.
• Experience managing complex organizations with multiple program areas and funding sources.
• Proven executive leadership experience, including demonstrated success securing philanthropic investments within a nonprofit organization.
