Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies set forth by the Governing Board, Medical Staff, and Joint Commission standards.
• Lead a culture that empowers hospital staff to fulfill the Encompass Health mission and exceed performance objectives.
• Oversee daily hospital operations, continuously assess performance, and implement improvements.
• Maintain patient census, actively market services within the community, and drive volume growth.
• Promote and sustain an inclusive and diverse workplace that respects and embraces everyone.
• Provide motivation and celebrate team achievements along the way.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related healthcare field (preferred).
• Or a Bachelor’s degree with work experience equivalent to a Master’s degree, demonstrated through responsibilities such as overseeing hospital operations, budget development, marketing for volume growth, FTE management, expense control, policy development, and regulatory compliance.
• Five years of management experience in the healthcare industry, with a minimum of 2–3 years in a senior management position.
• May be required to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, nights, and scheduled holidays.
