Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Executive Communications Manager to support the CEO, SVP, and senior leadership communications. You will develop and implement strategies to connect AWS leadership with employees, customers, and partners across earned and owned channels, including internal comms, social media, press, and events.

You will travel regularly within the U.S. (Seattle, New York, Washington DC) and internationally.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional communications or public relations experience.
Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or related field.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive executive communications strategies aligned with AWS priorities.
Provide strategic counsel to CEO and senior leadership to prioritize opportunities for impact.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define key messages and narratives for executives.
Create executive content including speeches, presentations, and written materials.
Design and manage integrated communications plans across earned, owned, and social channels.
Define and execute engagement plans for events, keynotes, and speaking opportunities.
Ensure consistency of executive voice across internal and external channels.
Guide executives on message positioning and delivery for critical moments.
Provide real-time counsel during sensitive situations or crises.
Navigate complex approvals while maintaining message integrity.
Build relationships with policy teams and external partners.
Deliver strategic employee communications to support leadership visibility.
