Job summary

Platinum Global Talent Solutions seeks a Chief Estimator in Long Beach, CA, to lead estimating for structural steel erection, wind energy, rigging, and heavy-lift projects. Drive bid development, pursuit strategy, and maintain a high-quality, profitable backlog.

Lead detailed cost estimates, coordinate with operations, safety, legal, and executives, and mentor the estimating team to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Twenty (20) years of progressive construction estimating experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading and developing estimating teams and driving pursuit strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed cost estimates, bid packages, and proposals for complex projects.
• Develop and execute estimating, pricing, and pursuit strategies.
• Lead opportunity evaluation and go/no-go discussions with senior leadership.
