Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks an Executive Vice President of Engineering to lead and scale the engineering org, delivering high-quality, reliable products for Space, Defense, and National Security. The role is onsite in Long Beach, CA or Denver Metro, CO.

You will set strategic vision, recruit and develop top talent, own end-to-end lifecycle from concept to deployment and post-support, and partner with executives on major programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 15+ years in engineering within aerospace, defense, or similar high-tech industries.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams and complex programs.
• Experience with modern engineering methodologies.
• Proven track record leading product development across full lifecycle.
• Strong systems-level thinking and scalable engineering principles.
• Ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and align with business strategy.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and executive influence.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive strategic vision, technical direction, and roadmap for engineering.
• Lead, scale, and develop a high-performing engineering organization.
• Own end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through deployment and support.
• Establish engineering excellence across design, processes, quality, and execution.
• Oversee architecture, scalability, reliability, and long-term sustainability.
• Define and manage technical roadmaps aligned with priorities and needs.
• Partner with executives on strategic initiatives and major programs.
• Ensure cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, finance, and business teams.
