Job summary

Trusted Space, LLC is seeking a Chief Engineer to design, develop, and verify simulations, and to drive analysis planning for our autonomy product. You will work with system and mission analysts to ensure modeling capabilities meet mission requirements and support government decisions.

The role emphasizes end-to-end MBSE, architecture definition, and collaboration with software and autonomy teams in a hybrid environment across Aurora, CO and Chantilly, VA.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Advanced degree with extensive system engineering and integration experience across space/ground segments.
• Experience coordinating across space and ground organizations to secure end-to-end performance.
• Strong modeling, simulation, and mission analysis capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborative team contributor.

Responsibilities

• Develop models, simulations, and use cases to support capability and risk assessments.
• Evaluate and document system-level performance trades for a Trusted Space autonomy product.
• Derive requirements from mission objectives and map to customer needs.
• Define and maintain system architecture, interfaces, and MBSE traceability.
• Quantify performance changes due to CONOPS, scenarios, or threats.
• Prepare data packages with analysis results for government decision-makers.
• Collaborate with Software, Integration & Test, and Autonomy teams.
