Job summary

Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge, managed by Coral Hospitality in partnership with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, is seeking a hands-on Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering Department and oversee maintenance, operations, and capital improvements.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Chief Engineer will ensure buildings and systems are safe, efficient, and guest-ready while managing budgets, projects, and preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive engineering or maintenance leadership experience in hospitality or similar facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and building systems.
• Experience developing and managing preventive maintenance programs and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, train, and develop the Engineering Department staff.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all lodge facilities.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance projects, renovations, and capital improvements.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and staffing for project efficiency.
• Maintain records of maintenance, utility usage, and expenses.
