Job summary

Germer International - Pharmaceutical Recruiting is seeking a Senior Director, Engineering and Maintenance to oversee a 250-person development and commercial manufacturing site in the Upper New England Area.

The role leads Engineering, Maintenance, Commissioning & Qualification, Automation, Reliability, and Calibration; responsible for budgets, SOPs, validation, change control, and the site master plan. Collaboration with Operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• Master's degree preferred with 8+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, coordinate engineering projects and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Plan, design and coordinate SOPs, validation protocols, change control procedures, drawings and other documentation.
• Prepare project budgets, schedules, and financial estimates; develop short- and long-term plans to meet objectives.
• Establish departmental objectives, ensure records of facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained.
• Ensure GMP-compliant practices and training of personnel, contractors, and consultants.
