Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Chief Engineer for the Imaging team to serve as the technical authority on projects, guiding multidisciplinary engineering from concept through production. The role demands leadership across hardware, software, and system domains to ensure robust, timely delivery.

You will collaborate with TPMs to plan, allocate resources, and manage cost, schedule, and performance while coordinating with cross-functional groups to drive EMD readiness and manufacturing readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience with senior technical leadership roles.
• Experience as technical authority on defense/aerospace programs.
• Experience delivering programs on cost and schedule in partnership with program management.
• Breadth across hardware, software, mechanical, and/or electrical domains and ability to trade-off across disciplines.
• Familiarity with NPI processes, including EMD and manufacturing readiness.
• Strong communication skills for leadership and customers.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technical Authority and own the technical direction for projects, programs, and tasks.
• Manage engineering execution with TPMs to plan, cost, schedule, and performance.
• Oversee product development from concept through production and MRB readiness.
• Coordinate with hardware, software, mechanical, and electrical groups for resource allocations.
• Support production and field issues with timely engineering solutions.
