Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Chief Engineer/Architect to define the architectural vision and lead enterprise infrastructure initiatives. You will partner with CTI, APSE, and CIO teams to design resilient, scalable systems and guide technology modernization while aligning with enterprise standards.

You will engage senior leadership, evaluate emerging tech, and provide cost-benefit analyses to drive strategic investments across AWS and Azure environments, ensuring security and reliability at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience providing end-to-end architecture, design guidance, and governance for large-scale initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead teams through complex challenges balancing tactical and strategic objectives.
• Translate roadmaps and business goals into actionable architectural solutions and delivery plans.
• Experience managing staffing, financial planning, vendor engagement, risk and governance processes.
• Proven leadership in infrastructure production support, ensuring reliability and stability.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-native solutions across AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Define the architectural vision for complex solutions and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements.
• Contribute to the architecture roadmap across domains and develop standardized templates.
• Clarify architecture, assist with system design, and provide solution options.
