Express Employment has partnered with a Honolulu real estate developer and property manager to hire a Chief Engineer / Engineering Manager. You will oversee building operations, maintenance programs, capital improvements, and engineering staff across a premier commercial property portfolio.

This executive role offers leadership responsibility, strategic budgeting, vendor management, safety compliance, and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience within commercial property management, engineering, facilities or building operations.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance programs, and capital projects.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and contract services.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineering and maintenance personnel
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and building systems
• Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service providers
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets while planning and coordinating capital improvement projects
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and operational standards
• Respond to building emergencies and critical system issues
• Maintain records, operational logs, and regulatory documentation

Express Employment has partnered with a respectable real estate development and property management company in Honolulu that is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer / Engineering Manager to oversee building operations, maintenance programs, capital improvements, and engineering staff across a premier commercial property portfolio.

Your Key Responsibilities
