Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience supporting production or manufacturing environments
• Minimum 10 years leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion engineering transformation initiatives to significantly accelerate PAC-3 production rates
• Drive and embed design for manufacturability (DFM), design for testability (DFT), and design for assembly (DFA) practices
• Partner with manufacturing to implement enhancements in production systems, tooling, and processes
• Develop and implement technical strategies to optimize product designs and workflows
• Mitigate engineering risks related to production rate acceleration
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials for ramp-up
• Lead cross-functional teams driving engineering changes compliant with quality and safety standards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams
• Support proposal development and participate in technical reviews
• Monitor and report metrics on technical performance and rate improvements
