Job summary

Atlas NextWave seeks a Chief Engineer to act as the supreme technical authority and head of the Engineering Department aboard our vessel, which is engaged in offshore wind turbine assembly and installation for the CVOW project.

The Chief Engineer reports directly to the Master for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of propulsion, auxiliary, jacking, and heavy-lift mechanical systems, guiding complex offshore industrial systems.

Responsibilities

• Role supports offshore wind turbine assembly and installation for CVOW project, encompassing complex industrial offshore systems.

Because the vessel is heavily engaged in offshore wind turbine assembly and installation-specifically supporting the client's massive Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project-this role goes far beyond traditional maritime engineering to include complex industrial offshore systems.
