Job summary

Prestige Staffing is seeking a Chief Engineer for a groundbreaking aerospace program based in Austin, Texas, with demand for leadership across vehicle design, testing, and flightworthiness. You will own the technical design and serve as the final authority on flight readiness, guiding a multi-disciplinary team from concept through build and test.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace, Mechanical, or a related engineering field (MS a plus).
• Experience as Chief Engineer, IPT Lead, or senior technical authority on a full vehicle program, from concept through build, test, and flight.
• Test campaign experience and strong systems-level analysis skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams under schedule pressure.
• FAA or EASA certification familiarity.
• Rotorcraft or launch vehicle experience is a plus.

A well-funded, fast-growing technology company is building a new aircraft from concept through first flight, with a path to production and certification. They’re looking for a Chief Engineer to own the technical design and hold final authority on flightworthiness.
