ERock in Houston, TX is seeking a Chief Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering across our distributed generation and microgrid projects. You will set long-term strategy, guide HV/MV/LV design, and ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

This role is based in our downtown Houston HQ with a hybrid schedule; remote applicants with access to a major airport are welcome to apply. The position requires a PE license, an advanced degree, 15+ years of experience, and strong

Formación

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering; PE license preferred.
• 15+ years in electrical engineering with power generation, utilities, distributed generation, microgrids, or related power system environments.
• Experience leading complex electrical engineering projects and organizations.
• Strong knowledge of HV, MV, LV systems, interconnection, protection and controls.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior technical leadership for HV, MV, and LV electrical systems across projects.
• Define and advance the long-term electrical engineering roadmap for distributed generation and microgrids.
• Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards and quality-control practices.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, UL, IEC, and NESC requirements.
• Represent ERock with clients, utilities, and external stakeholders.
