Job summary

ERock is a leader in distributed energy and microgrid innovation seeking a Chief Electrical Engineer to set the long-term electrical vision and drive design across HV, MV and LV systems. You will ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance while shaping the future of ERock's technology and portfolio.

You will lead a world-class team, shepherd advanced protection and control systems, and collaborate with executives, product teams, and utility partners to deliver cutting-edge grid

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in electrical engineering with executive experience preferred.
• 15+ years in electrical engineering with 8+ in senior technical leadership in power/utility or distributed energy.
• Professional Engineer license required; deep knowledge of HV/MV/LV and standards.
• Proven ability to lead large engineering programs and align with business goals.
• Strong communication skills for executive stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all electrical engineering functions.
• Define long-term technical roadmap for electrical systems and grid integration.
• Oversee HV/MV/LV design, protection, and control across projects.
• Drive generation integration with utilities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering organization.
• Represent ERock with conferences, regulators, and key partners.
