Job summary

Red 6 is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead its electrical engineering team in Denver, overseeing the development of cutting-edge AR systems. You will define engineering strategies and mentor a team focusing on high-performance standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical hardware, with at least 12 years of experience and proven success in aerospace environments. This role also requires effective collaboration across disciplines and the ability to manage complex projects.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in electrical hardware design, including 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Proven track record of delivering complex electronic systems in aerospace or defense sectors.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand the electrical engineering team at Red 6.
• Define and execute the electrical engineering strategy.
• Oversee schematic design, PCB layout, and validation testing.
