Job summary

Terex is seeking a seasoned HSE leader to coordinate health, safety, and environmental compliance across manufacturing operations. You will drive a strong safety culture, align initiatives with business goals, and provide strategic leadership with hands-on support to site leaders and cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills to manage near-term priorities and long-range programs in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health, Safety & Environmental, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible general industrial safety experience.
• Professional knowledge of HSE principles, regulatory compliance, industrial safety methods, environmental protection programs, root-cause analysis, risk reduction, ergonomics, and pollution-prevention practices.
• Experience with regulatory agencies, consultants, external personnel, and vendors; OSHA and EPA knowledge required.
• Excellent written, verbal, computer, presentation, and reporting skills; proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; English/Spanish bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and inspire assigned teams and site leaders to achieve exceptional HSE performance.
• Develop and enforce HSE policies, procedures, rules, programs, and standards to minimize hazards and risk.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, local, corporate, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate safety inspections, audits, and external safety partnerships.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
