Job summary

The United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum in Colorado Springs is seeking a Chief Education & Programs Officer to build and lead a broad portfolio of educational programs and experiences. This senior leader will craft strategy, scale programming nationally and virtually, and drive revenue while ensuring accessibility and authentic representation of Team USA history.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in museums or cultural/education settings.
• Proven ability to develop strategic education programs with revenue goals.
• Strong skills in audience research, evaluation, and return-on-investment.
• Experience managing budgets, teams, and external partnerships.
• Ability to work with high-profile athletes or figures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead education and programming strategy aligned with mission.
• Expand signature initiatives nationally and virtually.
• Build multi-year plan for growth in impact and revenue.
• Recruit and develop a high-performing education team.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Philanthropy to target audiences.
• Regularly report performance to CEO and Board.
• Manage budgets and revenue opportunities for the department.
• Ensure accessibility and inclusion in programs.
