Job summary

Based in Brooklyn, the role supports programs serving women and families across New York City and Long Island. Remote work 1–2 days per week is possible, with travel requirements to NYC area.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a development department, overseeing individual gifts, events, grants, communications, and donor relations.
• Track record of building major-gift pipelines and raising significant philanthropic support.
• Ability to plan, implement, and manage fundraising programs and donor communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Providence House’s fundraising strategy and plans.
• Lead a capital campaign with a $2 million goal over 2 years for the Lexington Project.
• Build and manage a 100–150 donor portfolio and oversee major gifts.
• Oversee gift processing, data management, and development budget.
• Collaborate with CEO and board to solicit major gifts and engage stakeholders.
• Mentor and build a high-performing development team.
