Job summary

Los Angeles Ballet is seeking a Chief Development Officer to lead its development efforts and drive the organization’s fundraising strategy.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will guide the Development department, partner with artistic leadership, and help the company achieve near- and long-term growth. The target salary is $150,000 with a performance-based bonus, and LAB offers 100% employer-paid medical insurance, a 401(k) plan, and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least ten years of leadership experience in philanthropy within an arts nonprofit.
• Experience directing development strategy and teams to achieve fundraising goals.
• Proven ability to build relationships with donors, boards, and executives.

• Direct the evolution of the Development department to align with LAB's near- and long-term goals.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director, artistic leadership, and staff to grow fundraising and donor engagement.
