Job summary

Charles Drew Health Center, Inc. seeks a transformative Chief Development Officer to lead philanthropy, grants management, and external communications.

You will shape a multi‑year fundraising strategy, build strong donor relationships and oversee HRSA/BPHC grant activities to advance access to culturally responsive health care. You will partner with the CEO, Board and Finance to align funding with strategic priorities, drive campaign execution, and ensure compliant, impact‑driven fundraising

• Strategic thinking with ability to develop multi‑year plans.
• Ability to manage complex budgets and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive development strategy including grants and external relations.
• Lead donor cultivation, proposal development and stewardship programs.
• Oversee federal, state, local, foundation grant activities and HRSA/BPHC submissions.
• Maintain grants calendar, reporting schedules, budgets, and compliance documentation.
• Represent CDHC publicly with media, stakeholders and community partners.
