Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools seeks an Executive Director of Data Warehousing to lead the design, development, and implementation of on-premise and cloud-based data platforms. You will oversee data analytics, BI solutions, and integration with external sources, reporting to the Assistant Technology Officer of Data Warehouses.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, shaping strategic data initiatives, and ensuring data quality and governance across district systems.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area required
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related area preferred
• Minimum of ten years' experience in data architecture preferred
• Equivalent combination of experience and education

Mansioni

• Adhere to all laws, policies, and procedures
• Lead, manage, supervise, and evaluate assigned programs/staff in the district
• Collaborate in the development of strategic plans to meet Board objectives
• Evaluate BI and data warehousing systems and lead migrations to cloud-based databases and BI solutions
• Perform highly complex data analysis, data architecture, and data reporting tasks
• Determine database and reporting requirements by analyzing business operations and objectives
• Develop data structures for data warehouses and data marts
• Lead data governance, master data management, and quality initiatives
• Design, develop, and implement dataflows and ETL/ELT solutions
• Manage data warehouse ecosystems, models, and source code
