Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking an Executive Director of Data Warehousing to lead the design, development, and implementation of on-premise and cloud-based data, BI platforms, and external data integrations. This role carries senior-level responsibility with substantial decision-making authority under the Assistant Technology Officer for Data Warehouses.

The incumbent will direct data architecture, analytics, and governance efforts, drive strategic plans, budgets, and collaborations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Minimum ten years of data architecture experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage complex BI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, development, and implementation of data warehousing and BI platforms.
• Lead and evaluate programs and staff in data management and analytics.
• Collaborate to develop strategic plans with district leadership.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and standards across systems.
• Manage budget and resources for data initiatives.
